CARLA ROSSER

Healthy Living In 2023

As we wind down 2022 and the holidays come to an end, many of us will be focusing on getting back on track with our healthy living. Here are my top tips for getting a jumpstart in January.

Schedule your health screenings. Health screenings are important to detect any health problems early on when they’re easier to treat. Regular check-ups and screenings can help you stay on top of any potential illnesses or diseases that may be lurking. Make sure to schedule regular appointments with your doctor and get the recommended screenings for your age group. This includes tests for cholesterol levels, blood pressure, diabetes, and more.

Incorporate a new exercise routine. Exercise is easier to stick with if we enjoy it. Is there something you’ve always wanted to try? Let this be your year! If you normally walk and lift weights, incorporate yoga or pilates. Looking for something adventurous but it’s too cold to be outside? Join a rock climbing gym. If you usually choose high impact exercise options, maybe a swimming class could provide an interesting challenge.

Getting quality sleep: The world has become incredibly fast-paced, with people working long hours and sleeping less. However, this situation has negatively affected the general health of most people. Sleep deprivation can increase the risk of heart disease or even depression. So, making quality sleep a health resolution can be a significant step in improving your health. Of course, it’d require proper scheduling, reducing caffeine intake, and using digital devices less before sleep. This way, you can improve both the quality and quantity of your sleep.

Digital detox: People are starting to realize that taking social media breaks and disconnecting from technology in general on a regular basis has many health benefits, including better sleep, reduced depression & anxiety and better productivity. Simple practices like putting phones in do not disturb mode, muting social media notifications and reverting to traditional alarm clocks so phones can be tucked away at night are becoming increasingly popular.

Eating healthy: Your diet is one of the most critical determinants of your health. You can improve your diet by including more vegetables, fruits, whole grains and lean grass fed or free range meats. One of the best ways I’ve found to eat the healthiest and feel my best is by following Arbonne’s 30 Days to Healthy Living program. It gives me everything I need to get the best nutrition products, delicious healthy recipes and group support. And you can tell by the comments below that my clients love it too!

“I gained knowledge in cooking healthy meals, learned about more healthy ingredients to make this way of eating very doable and enjoyable. I have gained the energy I was lacking! My clothes fit again, I have lots of recipes organized at my fingertips, and I feel so much better! This is such a great program to get the jump start I needed. Something I’ve really noticed is how happy I feel eating healthy. I know my body is thanking me and I’m not getting any younger.”

“I gave up making bad snack choices and instead turned to foods that help fuel my body, instead of working against it. I gained better mental clarity, energy, better habits and sleep!”

“I wanted my family to be eating their best and living their best life! The program was absolutely amazing! Exceeded my expectations!”

“This program and with the tremendous help of Carla Rosser, has given me my health back. I have the mind set and commitment to continue way past the 30 days. I feel I will not go off this new way of life. I feel amazing and know it will only get better. Also the recipes are amazing! Exceeded my expectations!”

Our next group starts on January 2nd and I’d love for you to join us! Please reach out if you have any questions.
