Holiday Gift Giving Guide

Here come the holidays and I couldn’t be more excited! I absolutely love everything that comes along with the holidays. The food, the holiday table settings, the candles, shopping in the snow flurries, Christmas music and wrapping beautiful packages. Just thinking about it makes my heart skip a beat.

The holiday season usually means lots of shopping and looking for those perfect gifts. I don’t know about you but I’m always looking for and asking for recommendations before I shop. There are so many choices and some are great and some not so great. I want to know what my friends love and recommend. It saves me so much time.  This week I’m excited to share some of my favorites!!

So, let’s get started…

1. Skinny Tees. I’ve worn Skinny Tees for years. In fact, you’ll never see me without one. I am obsessed with the tank style. They are great for all the tops nowadays that are so sheer (I’m not sure what the heck you are supposed to wear under them otherwise). They are just like a warm hug (but not too warm) under all my sweaters. I can pull them down over my pants or tuck them in. They come in so many colors and if you are looking for something like this I would choose a color and see how much you love it.

2. Apple Watch Band. This is my new favorite Apple Watch Band. I love the style of it, it’s comfy and it comes with a little kit that allows you to customize your fit.

3. Favorite Flameless Candles. I love flameless candles that I can leave on for hours and sometimes overnight without worry. These are perfect!

4. Flannel Facial Cloths. I’ve used these for years. If you’re still using a washcloth to cleanse your face I promise you won’t believe the difference if you make this switch. Our skin is so delicate and this “shammy” is so gentle with my favorite cleanser (I’ve included that as a favorite below). They make awesome stocking stuffers as well.

5. Kings Loot Wallet. I would 100% recommend this wallet for the men in your life.
I purchased one a couple years ago for my husband who didn’t like any wallet he tried. He said they were thick, heavy and he couldn’t access his cash and cards easily enough so he used a wide rubber band instead! Every time he pulled that thing out I wanted to faint. I then went on to purchase them for the other men in my life. Hands down the best men’s wallet. You have to click the link and watch the video to see what I mean.

6. Picasso Tiles Magnetic Building Blocks. I’ve purchased these for my grandkids, nieces and nephews. We all love playing with them. Seriously, they are so much fun!

7. Tickle Monster book. This was such a huge hit with my granddaughter. We’ve read it over and over and over with giggles every time .

8. Arbonne’s InnerCalm De-Stress Powder. We are coming into the best time of the year but the extra can sometimes be well…extra. This InnerCalm De-Stress Powder is incredible. It’s just a non- drowsy powder I add to water and drink. It’s great for de-stressing and quieting my mind.  The link I’ve shared is a Watermelon Mint Flavor. It’s only for a limited time, but I had to share because it’s my favorite flavor!

9. DermResults Regimen. This is my favorite skin care system. It’s a simple 4 step anti-aging set that I look forward to using every single day to brighten, tone and work on those pesky dark spots.

10. Shea Butter Hand Cream. Winter hands? I love hand cream that actually does what it’s supposed to. Moisturize. I also want to be able to turn a door knob after applying. I love Arbonne’s non greasy formulas and this Shea Butter not only works but smells so luxurious.

Hopefully some of these will help make your shopping a little less stressful this year. Please let me know if you have questions about any of these products.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Peppermint Mocha Protein Drink

This Hot Peppermint Mocha protein drink provides all of the nutritional benefits of a protein smoothie but tastes like a decadent hot peppermint mocha. The perfect breakfast for cold winter mornings or snack for an afternoon reading by the fire. Top with a little whipped cream & enjoy!

Ingredients

Protein Drink

  • 10 oz almond milk
  • 1 scoop Arbonne Coffee Protein
  • 1 scoop Arbonne Peppermint Mocha Protein
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Dairy Free Whipped Cream

  • 1 can 13-14 oz of full fat coconut milk (found in the baking goods area of grocery store)
  • 2-3 Tbsp confectioners sugar
  • cinnamon, vanilla or any flavor you would like Optional

Instructions

Protein Drink

  • Heat almond milk to your preference.
  • Add vanilla and protein powder. Blend with frother for creay results.

Dairy Free Whipped Cream

  • Place can of full fat coconut milk in the the fridge upside down, let it chill overnight.
  • Open the can. Carefully spoon out the top layer of opaque white stuff that has gathered at the top of the can. Spoon into a mixing bowl.
  • Add 2-3 Tbsp of powdered confectioners sugar to the coconut cream. Optional: add cinnamon, vanilla bean – any small amount of flavor you’d like.
  • Grab a hand beater and medium bowl. Whip the coconut milk. Start on low and move to a higher speed, move the beater in an up and down motion to infuse as much air as possible.
  • Top warmed drink with whipped cream and any other toppings. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  1. If for any reason your whip seems too stiff or dry, you can add a few teaspoons of the leftover coconut liquid or non-dairy milk. If your whip seems too soft or watery, you can add another tablespoon of sugar OR stick your mixture back in the fridge – it may need to firm up again.
  2. Coconut cream is best eaten right after it is whipped as it will lose some fluffiness if you stick it in the fridge to chill. But it actually holds up better than I expected!
